Impact of Rs.2000 Denomination Notes from Circulation
The Reserve Bank of India has decided to withdraw Rs 2000 Notes from circulation vide its press release 2023-2024/257. RBI has advised banks to stop issuing Rs 2000 denomination banknotes with immediate effect, In Pursuance of the Clean Note Policy.
